Therapy for Orlando women, without the commute on I-4
Orlando life is electric — and exhausting. Theme parks, tech corridors, endless construction, and a sprawling city that can feel oddly isolating once the tourist season ends. You deserve a space to be honest about all of it.
Laura Abreu, LCSW is a licensed Florida therapist specializing in millennial women. All sessions are virtual, HIPAA-compliant, and available anywhere in Florida — no commute, no I-4 traffic.
What Orlando millennial women come to therapy for
Orlando has a way of making everything look perfect on the outside. Therapy is the place you don't have to perform.
Anxiety — Constant pressure to keep up, overthinking, and the sense that you're never doing enough.
Relationship Recovery — Healing after heartbreak and breaking the patterns that keep bringing you back to the wrong people.
Postpartum & Maternal Mental Health — Support through TTC, pregnancy, and the postpartum period in a city that doesn't slow down.
Life Transitions — New careers, moves, identity shifts, and figuring out who you are outside of what you do.
Self-Esteem & Identity — Reconnecting with yourself when you've spent too long performing for others.
Stress & Burnout — When the grind has ground you down and you need more than a spa day to recover.

Online therapy in Orlando — FAQ
Do you offer in-person sessions in Orlando?
My practice is fully virtual. All sessions are held via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. Orlando clients love not having to deal with Brickell parking or the Palmetto at rush hour — you can log on from anywhere in Florida.
Do you work with women from diverse cultural backgrounds?
Yes. Orlando's cultural diversity is one of its greatest strengths. I work with women from all backgrounds and understand the unique pressures that come with navigating identity, family expectations, and culture in South Florida.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person?
Yes — research consistently shows telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person for anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions. Many clients find the comfort of their own space helps them open up faster.
What if I travel between Orlando and another city?
As long as you're physically in Florida, New Jersey, or Vermont during your session, we can meet. If you travel out of state temporarily, we'd pause until you return.
